The Cheeky Panda uses bamboo to make toilet paper and facial tissue that are not only good for you, but the planet too. They’re on a mission to show the world that by using more renewable fibres like bamboo (the world’s fastest growing plant) it can be easy to make a small, sustainable switch that will make a world of difference.
Each of their products are made from natural ingredients, housed within plastic-free, recyclable packaging and skin-friendly – thanks to bamboo being naturally hypoallergenic. They’ve made it easier than ever to become a little more eco-conscious, all it takes is a tiny change.
Their toilet tissue comes in packs of plastic-free 4s or 9s, with each roll containing 200 sheets of 3-ply bamboo toilet paper. Soft, yet super sustainable and great for skin!
Their facial tissues come in either flat, cube, or pocket-sized, each housed in plastic-free, cardboard packaging, meaning they’re super eco-friendly. Plus, they’re naturally hypoallergenic, meaning you want harm sensitive skin when you sneeze.
Their plastic free paper towels are super strong, absorbent and made from 100% bamboo. Housed in plastic-free packaging, these sustainable sheets can wipe up any kitchen spill you throw at them.
They want to put a stop to the unnecessary cutting down of 27,000 trees used to make paper products every day – they believe that bamboo is the ultimate eco alternative resource for battling deforestation, pollution and climate change. By using bamboo, they have calculated that they have saved over 140,000 trees. Their entire supply chain is carbon balanced by the World Land Trust, meaning they have also saved over 17,500 tons of carbon.
The Cheeky Panda is proud to have a female founder, Julie Chen, and they have created a young, passionate & diverse team all trying to do the right thing to make the world a better place.
With B Corp and their charity partners, they have helped raise over £100,000 for organisations such as Whale and Dolphin Conservation, Save The Children, Barnardo’s, World Land Trust and most recently, Edinburgh Zoo.
